Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinating sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes
within the company
- Proactively monitoring and striving to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency
- Coordinating of planning activities with other functions and stakeholders within the company, including Marketing, Aftersales and Finance
- Monitoring of the accuracy of sales reports and other intelligence essential to the organization. Recommends revisions to existing reports, or assists in the development of new reporting tools as needed
- Increasing sales volume in a mature market
- Improving market share
- Ability to persuade dealers to improve their profitability and customer satisfaction index scores
- Involvement in development of an effective dealer network
- Developing effective sales force
- Liaison between assigned departments, dealer body and VP/COO, President/CEO
- Ensuring balanced allocation of available production based on regional inventory levels and specific market conditions and demands
- Increasing penetration and market share within certified pre-owned segment of the industry
- Sustaining existing fleet relationships and exploring/developing new channels
- University degree, preferably in business or related field
- 10+ years sales management experience within automotive industry
- Ability to lead, motivate and develop staff
- Strong persuasive skills
- Able to adapt quickly and lead change processes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines
- Ability to speak French would be an asset
